How consistent are babies’ looking time preferences? @Many_Babies1 found that preferences for infant-directed speech are robust. But, in work led by @mellisschreiner, we find little evidence that preferences are consistent from session to session: psyarxiv.com/uwche/ (1/6)

These issues are relevant for any research endeavor (yes, I boldly claim that solo science is, at best, extremely rare), but big team science really throws a spot light on our inability to properly deal with team efforts Cc @BigTeamSciCon @Many_Babies

Our paper on "Team Infrastructure Roles" is now out! journal.trialanderror.org/pub/manifesto-… What are TIRs? We define TIRs as specialists who support research, but are outside the typical job positions associated with being a "researcher", like grad student, postdoc, faculty. /1
