🔴Matabeleland South Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Albert Nguluvhe says the hideous and monstrous statue of Zimbabwe's founding liberation struggle movement leader Joshua Nkomo mysteriously erected in Maphisa, just over 100km south of Bulawayo, head of today national Independence Day commemorations there was removed "because it wasn't approved or installed with government's approval".
"We don't even know who had built and erected it there. It was put there at night. That's why it was removed."

@263Chat Can the minister take all those who waist most of the time waiting to arrest motorists on stop signs and redeploy them to areas where there is under-policing . How can 7 officers get deployed on 1 stop sign the whole day?
English

Home Affairs Minister Kazembe Kazembe has warned of a severe staffing shortage in the country’s police service, saying the deficit is already straining operations and leaving many areas under-policed.
Speaking during a National Assembly question-and-answer session on April 9, Kazembe said the government needs a total of 50,000 police officers to meet recommended staffing levels, but is currently short by 36,000 officers.
“At the moment, we are in the process of looking for people who want to join the police force because we are losing a lot of people most of the time,” Kazembe told lawmakers.

This is unacceptable! Zimbabwe has a bigger and deeper problem. Violence is an abomination. Why is this being allowed? Fellow Citizens, this marks the beginning of a new struggle! Enough is enough! This must bring all of us who believe in a free, open and peaceful Zimbabwe together! #OnePeople

@matinyarare @NyamudaJoseph Once they say yes to the referendum thus where the opposition put that sellout Chamisa♟️ he knows how to do the rallies that scam

𝗭𝗔𝗡𝗨 𝗣𝗙 𝗜𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗠.
The fact that ZANU PF has chosen rallies and roadshows to promote the amendment bill at grassroots level while preventing those opposed to it from undertaking similar workshops, illustrates that they're preparing for a referendum. This means that despite what they're saying publicly, they're either aware that they may lose in court and be forced to hold a referendum or their parliamentarians will ultimately call for a referendum after the consultation period.
This is quite encouraging for those campaigning against amendment without referendum. However, the question now is: do those opposed to amendment have a plan on how to campaign for “No” vote? And has ZANU PF changed people's lives enough to convince people to vote “Yes” to a term extension?

Fellow CITIZENS, I’m focused on the main show, finding a national solution to #CAB3, not distractions or sideshows. My leadership effort and focus is on our plans and a FRESH START path ahead. The die is cast. I say and act with integrity, purpose and in your best interests. Everything I do is grounded in accountability, responsibility, and the national interest. Ignore the sting operations and machinations meant to push a false narrative founded on malice and lies. God bless you.~Forever and always nc

English

Unpopular opinion!
Nelson Chamisa is the most overrated opposition leader Zimbabwe has ever had — all hype, Bible verses, and "God is in it" slogans with zero delivery, while real strategists get sidelined. His return with Agenda 2026 changes nothing; it's the same old dance.
There, I said it! 🔥🇿🇼
