@TechnicalHalo My guess is that it's operating through Microsoft accounts, so you need internet access to play it at all on PS5 as it tries to authenticate your account

there’s a sharing option which should let you share the one account that has ps+ to the other, but it’s still odd that on this game PS requires this while Xbox doesn’t. Maybe split screen is online only and not networked locally?

@ConstantinidisA Should still be there though for those that want to use it. I wouldn't use it, but some people love theater mode.

@ChefandArbistor Comparing this to the RE Remakes is what I was thinking. Of course if this remake is successful in bring in money and players I would expect Halo 2 and 3 to have potentially more expansive Remakes as well.
