@GlamRockMarc LOL Actually it wasn't. We 'located' this, but no matter. Some people do adore the limelight. In Tim Rundell's case he paid ultimate toll to the ferryman demanded for long-term hard drugs+heavy drinking. A lesson to us all that bodies in their 50's can't endure a young man's game

Bill Legend was a great name for T.Rex's drummer, especially with all the mythical, fairy-story type lyrics Bolan used to sing.

@rwilliams1947 @MickPuck Final reply. Promise. Chris Welch retold this anecdote in his speech at the unveiling of the EH blue plaque. It was a tale of playing bongos with Marc jamming to Debora in Marc and June's previous flat in Blenheim Crescent. Sorted. @SteveTook is definitely on the Debora single.

@MickPuck I had lunch today with the chap who played the bongos on “Debora”.

@MickPuck @rwilliams1947 Chris Welch interviewed Marc at Bleheim Crescent & showed him Toadstool Studios, (a cupboard where Marc recorded his demos back then). Marc started playing Debora on his guitar & Chris played along on bongos for fun. This was at least a year after Debora had been released.
