PSA is probably most inconsistent of the three and gets the highest return in most circumstances. Why? They catered to big money users and so as of now they’re ‘best’

@CardPurchaser maybe this is a controversial hobby take, but if the same parent company owns PSA, SGC and BGS, there should be no difference in the resell value of their slabs on a like-for-like grade basis.

My Opinion. Rookie Cup cards (Base or not) are the GOAT of the card collecting world. Having that sweet little golden cup is just amazing. And we as a hobby need more of that.

I literally had a customer pull one in front of me the other day at my store, and many other times. I know they are in retail. I am well aware of these products as I sell them every day

@BackInTheHobby @CardPurchaser Depends…Downtowns are case hits in hobby, but not retail. HFA are case hits in retail too making them less scarce. So most likely they won’t be as valuable as Downtowns. If you look at baseball, Downtowns way outperforms the HFA because being in Three and Two keeps them scarce
