Okay going to say it. Dungeon Master (1987), originally for the Atari ST, has the GREATEST MAGIC SYSTEM of any roleplaying game ever. Including tabletop roleplaying games like D&D and Call of Cthulhu. I thought so in 1987, and I think so today. It is easily expandable, and I blame my own venality and sloth in not adapting it to a game myself. Plus the fact that I haven't done a single fantasy RPG since that time so where would I place it?
