Texans trade one spot ahead of Giants to draft Kayden McDonald. Would've been a perfect fit for the Giants in every way. The last time this happened, Gettleman panicked and drafted Kadarius. Hopefully the same thing doesn't happen again. UPDATE: It did not. Hood is a fine pivot.

For NYG at 37 DT McDonald is the guy if they are not confident in a veteran NT giving them real snaps. DT Lee is the guy if they want a 3T/5T hybrid, something Harbaugh always wants WR Boston is the guy if they want a true X who complements the current WR group WR Bernard is the guy if they want an inside/outside hybrid who can line up everywhere (including backfield) and would fit in best with Nagy.

I don't think many people had Reese dropping...I sure didn't and I got my lineman at 10 which I'm thrilled about. Hey, #Giants go get Kayden Mcdonald and make me more happy.

@LicensePlateGuy I LOVE the Mauigoa pick, at 5 I think I would’ve preferred Downs but I’m definitely not gonna complain about taking someone with Reese’s upside, especially with KT probably being gone next year

Giants thought Reese was the better pick over Styles and Mauigoa was the better pick than Downs. What do you think? Guess we won't know for awhile huh

@ShaunMorash I am with you that I’d prefer Love isn’t the pick at 5, reason is I think it means we likely will target D at 10, I’d honestly feel better about the Love pick if we still end up with Mauigoa or Vega, but Love is a great player and I wouldn’t lose my shit if we drafted him.

I’m going to bed full on expecting Jeremiyah Love to be a Giant in 24 hours. Fans will celebrate, Harbaugh and co will praise the talent was too much to pass up. They will win 7 games max, interior oline will be a massive issue, and the same fans will ask why they weren’t good
