The average salary in Canada is $60,000 The average home in Toronto costs over $1.3 million. In Vancouver, average homes are $1.2 million. Yet Trudeau thinks it's a lack of ability to generate a credit rating holding folks back from buying. I know math is hard for him. Especially in light of his gilded childhood. Rest assured, no matter how stellar a person's credit rating will be, they will not be able to buy a million-dollar home on a $60k income. Canada needs more supply and less demand for housing. That means the government needs to get out of the way and that immigration needs serious cuts. Trudeau's Regime is doing the opposite and has offered the ability to include rental history in credit ratings to get people into houses. The housing crisis is going to last much longer under the inept governance of the Trudeau Liberals.
