@RevolutionRidly I agree it makes sense and don't mind it, though I do get why people would prefer Queen Metroid being the last battle. On the other hand he never got to be the final boss prior so I'm glad he got his chance at that before they moved onto Dread

@MarcelSOLDIER His inclusion in Samus Returns absolutely makes sense, if you think about it. He and the Space Pirates wanted more Metroids, and Samus exterminated all but one on SR-388. It also explains why he knew where to go in Super Metroid, how he knew who had the baby Metroid.

since Prime 4 and Dread take place after he canonically dies I'm wondering if Ridley will ever show up in a metroid game again

@RevolutionRidly I haven't looked into the time travel theories to be honest but thats kinda reassuring. I'm prob just worried his last 2D appearance would be a remake he arguably shouldn't have been in, and 3D one was... Nintendo Land

@RevolutionRidly They absolutely could do that but thats kinda the issue. Unlike Bowser/Ganon they have to come up with logical excuses to bring him back and I feel they're already running out after Fusion/Other M

@Retro64__ Even as a kid that old render bothered me. The levels he showed up in were some of my favorites cuz of how powerful he felt, so seeing his expression seem mildly annoyed in the manual was really jarring

Woah! Looks like we got a new Rambi (re)render! Older images from USJ using Rambi just recycled his render from DKCR. Glad he's finally getting some new renders with his more typical design! Never was a huge fan of the DKCR look haha 🦏‼️

@KATSENHAKER0N CE is my top 5 games ever I can assure you I wasn't going into this like "aw yeah can't wait to complain about a remake of my favorite FPS for no reason" You can prefer how it looks but there's no denying the original style was lost as a result of getting unreal engine-ified

@MarcelSOLDIER I dunno, in this case it feels like complaining for the sake of complaining. I get it in some games where it arguably looks worse; this looks better in every single way.

Halo remake looks "better" from a technical standpoint but the visual style from the original is just gone. Scrubbed away so it can look like every other shiny washed out unreal engine game in existence. I'm just so sad man

Watched the gameplay reveal for the Halo CE remake and just sighed

finished Super Mario Galaxy and yep that's still basically the best game ever made. Everytime I play this one I end up appreciating it just a little bit more. Genuinely the greatest thing nintendo has released since August 17th 1982

@RevolutionRidly I try not to generalize but I'm willing to bet at least a few of the people claiming Ridley has been "overused" were upset when Retro Studios didn't bring back K Rool for the new DK Country games

All the anti-Ridley stuff boils down to the same old stupid arguments of him "being shoehorned", "he's dead dead", and "adding him doesn't make sense". Ridley has never been shoehorned into games, he has a purpose. It's fine to not like Ridley, but stop lying.

While I don't expect him to appear, I still want him to be in Prime 4 and future games. I feel that this anti-Ridley nonsense is overly forced. If this game truly does have time travel, then no one can use the excuse "he can't appear post-Fusion" ever again.

@Shinesparkers He absolutely should and I have no idea why so many are against it, he's never been the primary antagonist so I don't know why people think he'd steal the spotlight from Sylux. Also this may be the last 3D Metroid for who knows how long + he's dead in all games after Super/Fusion

finished The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask One of my biggest regrets is never experiencing this series as a kid, but i also think now that im a senior gamer i can fully appreciate how unimaginably genius this was, and that there will never be another game like this ever again

@WEENIEVEVO I prefer to play the original version of games, for the first playthrough at least. Also being able to play in bed is a lifesaver especially after work. I’m just like the people in the ads! Wowzers!
