However, antisemitism can be expressed as simply holding Israel to a double standard not expected of others, which has been clear in his constant condemnation & hostility towards Israel, Netanyahu & his policies targeting/lacking in support/creating disproportionate insecurity for Canadian Jews, while being soft on the PA, Hamas, IRGC & Pro-Hamas domestic terrorists. In comparison to @PierrePoilievre who has been a staunchly supportive ally right out of the gate at every turn, with both words, deeds, actions & policy proposals.

I don't believe Carney is an antisemite. You don't live/work where he did and get away with that. But he knows that progressive politics - which includes much of his Liberal Party - has now fully succumbed to antisemitism. So he nods to it. That's worse, to me. It's antisemitism that's motivated by cynicism, not belief.

The Canadian government is the most hostile to Israel in my lifetime. And I grew up in Canada from 1977 to 2003. Israel should start withholding intelligence from countries that treat them like this.

I have just received information from my officials which details the appalling abuse of Canadians who were detained in Israel. These Canadians have now arrived in Türkiye. Global Affairs consular officials on the ground are ensuring that they receive urgent medical care as required so that they can return home as soon as possible. Canada unequivocally condemns the grave mistreatment of Canadians in Israel. Those responsible for this egregious abuse must be held accountable. We will continue to provide additional information as it becomes available.

Israel deserves criticism for its actions too, but Hamas needs to be condemned because they will continue to pour innocent blood for sympathy and will only prolong the conflict

Justice should not depend on race, religion, nationality, or which side trends online.
