Very sad to report the passing of legendary courtroom sketch artist Bill Hennessy. Per an announcement from his family, Bill died yesterday on his 67th birthday. He chronicled history unlike anyone ever His iconic work ====>

@RMFifthCircuit And per a story I once did, former Obama SG Don Verrilli Jr. eats salmon the night before Scotus arguments-- brain food. Retired Latham partner, the great Maureen Mahoney, ate a donut before her arguments-- sugar rush.

I was listening to an important oral argument yesterday, and one of the judges casually mentioned (by way of apologizing for a long OA)that the great advocate Seth Wexman does not eat at all until OA is finish. Always interesting to gather these little #AppellateTwitter tidbits.
