Although it looks just like a V4 post, the Basecharger doesn't have a cabinet at all. We were able to put one of the 16 trays from the V4 cabinet inside the post. It fully leverages the design, production and supply chain of the V4 posts and V4 cabinet power electronics.
Cost per mile (or km) is key for electrifying trucking. The Basecharger dramatically improves cost and installation flexibility for longer dwell time locations, further improving the economics for heavy duty fleets.

Tesla FSD just saved a kid who ran right in front of us this evening.
Watch how fast the speed drops the millisecond he hits the pavement. Jae and I were totally caught off guard, but FSD saw him and reacted before we even realized what was happening.

FSD recognizes officers hand signals. FSD 14.2.2.5 stopped for a police officer who was assisting in a fallen branch and directing traffic. FSD waited until the officer waved me on to go, the car recognized his hand signal.

FSD V14.3.1 approaches a routine stop sign, encounters a police officer directing traffic, understands that the officer’s gesture overrides stop sign, does not stop, proceeds through on officer’s gesture. Flawless.
I jolted up and almost hit the brake, but was immediately reminded that Tesla is basically shipping AGI at this point.

Nothing matters more than safety when choosing a vehicle. Tesla consistently earns top safety ratings, and this devastating crash is a powerful example of why:
In China recently, an out-of-control heavy-duty truck plowed into 13 vehicles, including a Tesla Model 3, resulting in five fatalities and one person seriously injured.
The Model 3 was struck three separate times and sustained severe damage. Despite the intensity of the collision, the driver walked away unharmed—highlighting the vehicle’s structural integrity and crash protection.
The owner says his next car will be either a Model 3 Performance or a Model Y Performance.

@TXL_EV @brandenflasch @EFIEBER_ANDRE @TESLA_winston I also agree, the peak loads that this battery may see in a home are not close to the high power loads/regen it sees during driving (especially on hard accelerations).
A ≈400V will see as much as 20A when everything is on Vs 500-600A when on the road.

Ein richtig schönes Beispiel dafür, dass Batterien aus Elektroautos nach dem Einsatz im Fahrzeug nicht einfach ausgedient haben, sondern als Speicher ein zweites Leben bekommen können.
