This misses a lot too. Consider construction of the mining machinery to get the materials and transportation of the machines to the mines. Consider the mining operations. Movements of personnel to make everything happen. Part production and transport. This can go on and on to the point where it seems unlikely whether more energy will be produced than what is consumed.

The wood would have been cut anyway and used in normal circumstances. The trees weren’t felled specifically for the wind turbines.
