The budget for SUPERGIRL is rumored by reputable sources to be 100 million dollars after taxes and even if it underwhelms internationally, I can see it being profitable even if it grosses less than half of SUPERMAN

@DCStannn Pretty sure Bruce Wayne mentiones something like "Every time your hero saves a cat out of a tree, you're writting a puff piece editorial about an alien who, if he wanted to, could burn the whole place down". Implying that he has saved at least one cat.

The point is that Lex knew the fortress would do that when Ultraman would be near it, but how is it possible for him to know that when he didn't know where the fortress was in the first place in order to study it? You don't figure out how it works from just one glance.

I keep seeing Gunn fans trying to defend this scene, and let me break down why this scene is ass in a few words. It changes Lex’s motivation for no reason, and it only exists in the scene. OK, let me break down what I mean. Lex wanted to kill Superman. He said this was what he was given permission to do. Yet when given the chance, he changed this to “I just want to torment you and kill the people around you like your parents” (which isn’t even clear how he knew he had human parents). Why? Why did he shift his focus? Why wasn’t killing Superman his goal here? Also, the movie sets up that he has been secretly watching Clark, which somehow his super hearing never picks up, and knows his every move fast enough to yell it out, input it into a computer, transmit it to his clone, and attack Superman before he can attack. Yet his drones didn’t know he changes into Clark Kent and goes back to work? Or that he flies to Kansas to meet his parents? Then there’s the “he would’ve killed him anyway,” which doesn’t make sense as he has unlimited cages to place him in, and not once did Lex kill anyone just because. So you’re just making this choice up, and the movie never supports it. This scene needs so many plot holes to make sense, and that’s why it’s a shit. I seen the movie 1 times so maybe I just missed some dialogue or something
