@MardyMoustache @TheDevilsDNA @AdamJoseph I’d rather look at a midfield like PSG - Vitinha, Neves, Emery/Ruiz - players who can do everything and base our midfield or something like that. Tonali, Scott and Fernandes would be perfect for that.

Good call. He's earned it & "known devil is better" considering the many risks of someone new having to come in, settle & adjust with a clearly mish-mash squad. Focus on recruitment. Nail the gaps & problem areas. Take manager call after 1-2 years depending on Carrick improvement

@AdamJoseph @McGeady78 Players agree terms with teams all the time - doesn’t mean he wouldn’t also agree terms with United, or even choose United over City - he can only agree with terms on the table (I think he’ll go to City).

Manchester United must sign one of their top CM targets - Elliot Anderson, Aurelien Tchouameni or Sandro Tonali. That #1 option to lead the midfield. Mateus Fernandes & Carlos Baleba should be the two who join alongside them. That's how this midfield rebuild gets done properly.

Manchester United should be pulling out all the stops & doing everything they can to convince Elliot Anderson to join the club this summer. They can't compete on what he & his agent will be offered by City, but he's that good you can't give up - make one last pitch this weekend.

No club in the world, will get rid of an interim manager that has gathered more points than anyone else since he arrived Any sensible club would at least give said manager a short term contract It's only Man Utd fans that think they're wise

Senior players like Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire & Casemiro came out and said the players are happy with Carrick, respect him, and hope the board keeps him for next season. But Mark from 𝕏 said Iraola is better, so INEOS should listen to him 🤣

@aclong111 Making firm decisions re withdrawal etc, should be made later down the line, but early prognostication can also allow relative time to come to terms with loss or the “‘new normal”, as well as say goodbye.

And of course, some patients ultimately will have devastating neurologic injury. What can feel uncomfortable is that if this ultimately becomes clear days later, it may feel as though we “delayed telling the family the truth.” But the reality is that early after arrest, we often do not yet fully know the neurologic landscape. Waiting is not avoidance. It is part of providing the most accurate assessment possible. Families deserve to make decisions based on the best prognostic assessment we can provide, not the fastest one. And after cardiac arrest, that level of confidence usually takes days, not hours.

Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest can look devastating early. The neurologic exam may be poor. The CT may show edema. Families understandably want answers immediately. But one of the most important principles in post-arrest care is avoiding premature neuroprognostication.

If he can’t score that chance against Arsenal, then why should Manchester United sign Mateus Fernandes? 😭

The plan was to get an interim coach to improve results and secure UCL football, then get a permanent coach at the end of the season. Carrick has done a fantastic job. I applaud him, but why not stick to the original plan? Thank Carrick, wish him well, and go for another manager to take us forward. I love Carrick and wouldn't be against it if he's given the job, but this feels like Ole all over again.
Sully@SullyTalkz

The expectation is for #MUFC to offer Michael Carrick the permanent head coach role for next season. No concrete talks or official decision has been made yet but it's looking increasingly likely that the club want to continue with the 44-year-old following impressive past months.

@FCademartiri I think we are a very long way from AI replacing human clinicians. AI often misses context in more complex tasks, and the human experience is highly complex. Also, humans don’t like dealing with non-humans, particularly when they need help and their tolerance is reduced.

Your doctor spent 30 seconds with you not because they don't care. Because they're scheduled to see 40 patients in 8 hours. That's 12 minutes per patient. Minus charting. Minus phone calls. Minus bathroom breaks. Blame the system that measures productivity in volume, not outcomes.

🚨 Now that West Ham are close to being relegated, United could get Mateus Fernandes for a fee of around £25m. Mateus Fernandes is young, versatile, has Premier League performance and could be a solid low cost option. YES or NO?

If you think that Ederson is ahead of the likes of Aurelien Tchouameni, Elliot Anderson, Carlos Baleba, Mateus Fernandes, Sandro Tonali, Adam Wharton, Alex Scott, Tyler Adams in the queue, I have a bridge to sell you. The same old tactic his agent has been pushing for years.

@koonyansanii @Cobrautd @UtdSaint1 You make a good case re Arse’s football, and a draw away to Sunderland is definitely a good point. The issue yesterday for me was more the drop off in quality having rotated only 2 or 3 first teamers (Heaven for Licha wouldn’t have been considered a step down, but it looked it)

Bournemouth finished in 9th in the league last season. Currently, they are sixth in the League, 3 points off the champions league spots. These are the results of giving a proper manager time and resources. Carrick has been here for 5 months, and performance wise, he has shown us nothing to believe in. If we can't get Nagelsmann in this summer, then we should definitely be going for Iraola.
