@10cromosoma @TonyHaleRapt I think there’s reason to believe that the same cult from Tomb/SV were also under Citadelle. All three used the same symbols, had an affinity for caves, and it’d make sense why Owl would want to do a DA ritual ontop of/in it

@soufflewaffle Definitely just poor character writing. This is the most bloodthirsty we’ve seen him. He literally wants to commit mass genocide with the possibility of killing EVERYONE. Despite this, he gave off more of a bloodthirsty vibe last season. His vibes are just off

Mostly because otherwise it makes zero sense in the current timeline, especially with Ravenov's "requiem...they forced this upon us" with Ava's creation. Which a. requiem was long disbanded since then and b. there is no more ravenov dna to be harvested currently. Grey destroyed literally egg sample but Sams. I think the idea there's an anchor point across several times/worlds, if Requiem still dies, while mwz still exists. To add onto this, the Warden says something along the lines of this universe no longer existing, when Dempsey asks about the hotel room in totenreich. Just *so* much stuff in mwz and how it's lore makes zero sense with the cw to b07 timeline, and current new lore points to it being an alternative timeline that happened before b06/7, but no longer does. Like a grodi krovi/rev situation. It happened to lead us to the now, but it's no longer the future kinda deal.

I mean setting up for Vought Rising! V1 supes played such a massive role in at least half of The Boys and Gen V that it was inevitable V1 was going to play a role. This on the other hand...

I don't mind The Boys S5 setting up for Gen V, but I do mind Soldier Boy being frozen and left on a cliffhanger for another spinoff. I'm sure Kripke is terrified that Mexico is going to be canned just like Gen V S3 was

@TheKorborium @MargwaBot Most likely MWZ world is its own universe so cysts are a thing, the Stormcaller shows up in multiple places and Ravenov works with the American government/Ex Requiem to counter DA breaches

Wanted to add : Another reason I think it's Kortifex's ( aside from the runes on the box ) is it's very similar to both the Gorgofex and the Decimator Shield . In that it's a living creature fused with an inanimate object .
