MULLAHS HANG Iranian Women for refusing the hijab…while their OWN DAUGHTERS party half-naked…dancing in luxury Western Clubs on the blood of the executed. Rules for the Slaves…but not for the tyrants’ princesses. DEPORT them back to their Shitholes.

@Arrogance_0024 You obviously know nothing about the best military in the world and even less about human value.

The "leave no man behind" doctrine is actually a strategic weakness disguised as a virtue. Name one other military on earth that destroys 6 aircraft and fights a ground battle inside a sovereign nation to recover one pilot. You can't. Because no other military confuses tactical sentimentality with strategic logic. Soldiers serve the mission. The mission doesn't serve the soldier. The US has now established that Iran can shoot down an F-15, then watch America spend $300M and expose Delta Force trying to prove it didn't happen. That's not military doctrine. That's politics with weapons. A military that cannot accept the risk of loss cannot win wars. The US hasn't won one since 1945.

Lose all this to rescue 1 pilot and call it your greatest military success of all time.

Not only is rescuing our soldier the right thing, it's a tremendous psychological victory over Iran. Every Iranian who sees this knows the regime values the life of one of its citizens at less than the price of a bullet. Your mentality is also what led Spain to euthanize a young woman who was raped.

@Arrogance_0024 "The US is weak because it doesn't leave its men to die in enemy territory based on a cost/benefit analysis" is an extremely French take.

Oh please—this is the sort of bloodless, spreadsheet “realism” that confuses cruelty with intelligence. “Leave no man behind” is not a sentimental lapse. It is the recognition that an army is not a heap of replaceable parts but a brotherhood held together by trust. A soldier who knows he will not be abandoned fights differently—more fiercely, more loyally, and, inconveniently for your argument, more effectively. Armies built on fear shatter; armies built on trust endure. And your fixation on cost—planes, dollars, hardware—is almost endearing in its naivety. You’re counting machines while ignoring the only thing that has ever won a war: human beings who believe in one another. A military that signals “you are worth recovering” creates soldiers who are worth far more to begin with. But the deeper point—the one you’ve missed entirely—is that this doctrine didn’t arise from nowhere. It has roots, and those roots are distinctly Western and, more specifically, Christian. The idea that the individual life has inherent, non-negotiable value—that you go back for the one lost sheep, that you do not step over the wounded man on the road—is not some universal instinct of empires. It is a moral inheritance. And in America, with its particularly individualistic strain of Christianity, that idea was radicalized into culture: the person matters, irreducibly so. Naturally, that bleeds into its military. Inevitably. You get a force that, for all its flaws, refuses to treat its own as expendable raw material. And you can mock that as “sentimentality” if you like—but compare it to the great experiments in cold, efficient brutality. Soviet human waves. Totalitarian conscription machines. Very logical. Very ruthless. Also very good at grinding their own people into dust. As for the tiresome claim that America hasn’t “won a war since 1945,” it betrays a child’s understanding of history—wars as neat, cinematic endings rather than messy, strategic outcomes. The world is not a scoreboard. What you’re really advocating is a civilization that shrugs at the loss of its own in the name of efficiency. That isn’t strength. That is barbarism with a calculator. It produces brittle systems, hollow loyalties, and soldiers who know they are expendable—and act accordingly. A culture that refuses to abandon its own is not weak. It is, rather irritatingly for your thesis, the only kind that can project power without rotting from within.

@Arrogance_0024 This was also US military doctrine when America liberated both of your countries. Just shut up. You have no clue what you’re talking about, and judging by your timeline, you’re just a bad-faith seether who will criticize whatever the US does.

@Arrogance_0024 The US Navy alone has more aircraft than the French and Polish Air Force combined. It would be far more costly for you to go save your downed soldier than us. Which is why you’re on the internet bitching about what we did. Stop viewing us through your lens. We aren’t the same.

My message here clearly struck a nerve. A few friends from when I was press secretary, domestically and abroad, don’t like what I said. Instead of seeing how Western European nations must change, they just want to attack Trump. The reason it struck a nerve is because they recognize that this time NATO nations are being held to account. They know they’ve come up short for decades and by denying us overflight rights, they’ve gone too far. Americans are fed up, especially with France and Spain. Trump won’t stand for it and they know it. They now fear the consequences of their inaction. The UK, unlike its days under Thatcher or Blair, is wishy-washy. They’ve often been a good allie, but this time they want to sit it out and have it both ways. We can use their bases, but only for limited operations. At least the UK spends real money on defense. France, Spain, and Italy are another story. So too is Canada. None of these four contribute seriously to NATO. They’re laggards, trying to get away with it. Spain and France force our pilots to fly thousands of miles out of the way (I thought they didn’t like carbon footprints) en route to Iran. Eastern Europe is a different story. They spend more on defense and they understand power. They lived under Soviet domination and recognize weakness when they see it. They won’t be weak. Western European governments, especially France, are good at issuing communiques and statements. They enjoy hosting conferences. They love to ponder deeply. Getting them to act is another matter, unless it’s to purchase Russian LNG, which they still do. The world is changing. Out of this war will come a new group of younger nations that understand real power and the importance of strength. The UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Israel and Eastern Europe will emerge stronger than ever. Western Europe will continue to fall behind. As for Trump, you don’t have to like him. He often says things none of his predecessors would say. But don’t underestimate the fact that US taxpayers are fed up with nations that don’t pull their weight, and then force our pilots to take risks and longer flights so we can rid the world from the menace that is Iran. Today’s Western European leaders would rather mollify Iran and pay them ransoms (trade) than support the US. Things are different today. We all know it. The UK, France, Spain and Italy (despite its Prime Minister) have earned the consequences that will unfold. They could have and should have supported us. Not as a NATO alliance. But as individual free nations. All we wanted was overflight rights and full access to airfields. They’ve made their choices. Soon, they’ll see the results.
Ari Fleischer@AriFleischer

When this is over, the western part of NATO will never be the same. Spain, England, France and Italy have sold us out, as they too often have a history of doing. Eastern European nations are the heart of NATO. They spend money on defense, know how to fight and love the US. France particularly deserves fault and blame. From supporting China and Russia at the UN to denying Americans overflight rights, they’re doing what they’ve always done - showing weakness, while cutting deals with terrorists. (The reason the US has a Marine Corps and Navy is unlike France, we refused to pay a ransom to the Barbary Pirates. France is always happy to cut a deal.) Wars have unintended consequences as nations show their true colors. NATO will never be the same, and Western European weakness and acquiescence is the cause.

The security forces in Iran threw acid on Marziyeh for not covering her hijab “properly”. And this one? The grandniece of Qasem Soleimani the slain IRGC commander, in a luxury life in America, without hijab. Yes for us ordinary women in Iran: show our hair, lose our face, beaten by morality police, arrested, blacklisted, and even get killed like Mahsa, Jina Amini. Outside Iran: be connected to the regime, enjoy your freedom.

This is a truly frightening speech by a person who is both stupid and evil. I’m happy to hear she was chased out of New Zealand and now lives in disgrace in Australia. She’s a freak, not of nature, but of modern progressivism.

You don't understand. Tucker Carlson thinks demons run America, we took Maduro to make Venezuela gay, we attacked Iran to rape their women, Russia is prettier than America, Qatar is better in virtually every aspect, shariah law is preferable to American law, people who chant "death to America" are the good guys, we were the bad guys in WWII, and terrorists aren't really terrorists, but he's really America First. You don't get it? Well neither do I, but who are we to question the guy who so bravely and singlehandedly fought off a demon in his sleep.
