Unless you’re Catholic. In that case, you need 3 to get married as well if you want to be in full communion with the Church (Body of Christ). This is why the Catholic engagement process is very rigorous. The Church cares about being thorough about your discernment of who you’re gonna spend the rest of your life with and literally become one flesh with.
