@Mariesc8ze0

I am in no rush to enter a relationship, for I know that true love is never a compromise, but rather a mutual journey undertaken by two independent souls

@Mariesc8ze0 @Dkim202_ @mannydawg67 @for_sale2nd @BigYash_609 Disagree. My money is being taken out via taxes to fund these safety nets that are, by design, ponzi schemes and are destined to fail due to less and less people paying in and more and more taking out. It absolutely is an intelligence test.

@donpoopencio @Mariesc8ze0 @mannydawg67 @for_sale2nd @BigYash_609 The 300k impacted by DOGE were told the same thing...What happened..this is the ultimate intelligence test here..let me guess you're going to say DOGE was good bc he "drained the swamp" 😂😂. Once again what are YOU going to do

@Mariesc8ze0 @Dkim202_ @mannydawg67 @for_sale2nd @BigYash_609 My entrie life Ive been told not to rely on Social Security and Medicare as a viable retirement strategy. If you're someone that thinks they can rely on those two things to survive in your golden years at this point, that is on you and yes, it is a sign of low intelligence.

@Dkim202_ @mannydawg67 @for_sale2nd @BigYash_609 No I have a job, health insurance, and a retirement fund currently worth over a million and I'm only 44. I dont plan on being eligible for Medicare when I finally retire. Only idiots who dont understand what per capita is would think relying on government handouts is a good idea.

@iancharris Valid concern on cost, but the bigger question is how to balance fairness across generations without worsening retirement insecurity

🚨 ELIZABETH WARREN: Elon Musk becoming the world's first trillionaire is a sign of a "rigged economy" and a wake-up call for higher corporate taxes and a wealth tax.

@KevinButterhof @DissentFu I started working young, stayed disciplined with saving and investing, and now I’m seeing the results. Owning assets in major companies means I’m essentially growing alongside much larger pools of capital

@DissentFu I am 33 years old. I have been working since I was 21 years old. I have tons of savings, own a home, and am on track to retire very early. And now there is a trillionaire. Whose stocks I’ve bought to help me become very wealthy.

@LarryAndertd @RoKhanna It’s not really about judgment or jealousy. It’s just life choices playing out differently. My path was steady and secure, and hers involved more risk with higher reward

@RoKhanna No we’re not a bunch of jealous do nothing cnts.. it’s America, land of the free with endless possibilities.. my sister and I have the same BS’s.. I chose a stable middle class job, she took risk and now makes 25 to 30 times what I do a year.. probably be 50 times when we retire

This the basic difference. Republicans believe that that if you let the wealthy spend capital it will make Americans prosperous. Democrats believe that the federal government investing in the healthcare & education of our people will make America prosperous & productive.
Don Wilson@drwconvexity

@RoKhanna I am highly confident society will derive greater benefit if that capital is in Elon’s hands than in the hands of the government.

@putmeonaces @DissentFu Wow, that’s a long and steady journey. You’ve clearly made thoughtful choices and stayed focused for a long time. It’s inspiring to see that level of discipline pay off. What are you most looking forward to after you retire?

@DissentFu I am 53 yrs old, working since 13 PT, FT since 18...I own my home and have a very healthy savings. I hope to retire in 3 to 4 yrs. Choices = rarely a new car, rarely took a major vacation, avoided CC debt if possible. And I always asked every Boss...what's next? Give me more..

@HissHitbox @plzbepatient He probably has a car payment and doesn't live on a budget. Anyone can become a millionaire in 15 years if they are employed and don't have debt. Literally anyone. Maybe 20 if they earn less than $70K. No debt, invest 15% of income and you will retire a millionaire.

Bill Maher, I always thought you were a jerk, but now you have really have gone off the deep end, endorsing G Platner for US senator. You should pack it in and retire. You are despicable and your word is not worth a thing! Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on your way out!

@DissentFu You get paid a lot to protest these days. Sort of joking but sort of not. Crazy. Anyway, did you invest those years with the money saved by not owning a home? If so, and it compounded, you may have a nice nest egg by the time you retire. Did your spouse work while raising kids?
