@TaylorTwellman MLS needs Liga MX to sell. Liga MX needs to ditch playing with MLS and go back to Libertadores.

This would be my #1 motivation in improving MLS on the field. I’d eat drink sleep this, put it in my veins and let’s cook. Because the atmospheres in Mexico ARE SO GOOD. And there is nothing better than winning on the road and the silence becomes deafening.

I much rather see Club America play focus all its energy into Liga Mx than waste time traveling ungodly amount of miles around the country risking injury.

.@MLS teams in Mexico just don’t know how to deal with that environment. There is a vibe, there is a pressure that the bubble will burst at any moment. San Diego last night and Cincinnati tonight both losing by 4 goal margins. The story with often the same ending.

MLS teams still Fold vs Liga MX teams playing as an away team for the most part The last win an MLS team has in Mexico was Columbus Crew when they defeated Monterrey Prior to that, they have advanced on away goals, PK, gotten draws but no wins MLS has only 5 wins in Mexico in CCC

@TaylorTwellman @MLS I don't think that's fair. San Diego is an expansion team (a good one) but they didn't have the quality depth to take down one of the top teams in Liga MX. Next round, LAFC, Seattle, LA Galaxy, and Nashville will do well. Might have an all-MLS final in the Champions Cup.

The @MLS teams stay comfortably at home while the @LigaBBVAMX teams have to travel ungodly amount miles around the country for a month straight. Only under those conditions can #MLS teams be successful against #LigaMX teams.

@MarioALNG @VoxProMLS I’m not gonna to act like roster restrictions don’t matter, but teams like Inter Miami have demonstrated that there are commercial ways to get around those. Focus on roster restrictions also ignores the many advantages that American teams have in recruiting talent.

@coachdancpt @11Yanks @MLSMoves How many Messi are there in the world? If you think having 1 Messi in your team will beat and win CCC then you are proven wrong. Liga MX teams don't have a Messi but they sure don't deal with salary cap restrictions which is why they build better rosters.
