Nuestra Marina Nacional ha asestado el golpe más contundente al narcotráfico en la historia de El Salvador. El 18 de junio de 2026, nuestros elementos interceptaron una embarcación tipo LPV (Low Profile Vessel) a 582 millas náuticas (1,074 km) al suroeste de la Bocana El Cordoncillo, en el Estero de Jaltepeque. A bordo viajaban tres narcotraficantes: dos colombianos y un ecuatoriano, quienes transportaban 3.425 toneladas de cocaína. Seis horas después, en la misma zona de operación, fue ubicada una segunda embarcación con las mismas características, a 633 millas náuticas (1,172 km) al suroeste de la Bocana El Cordoncillo. En esta embarcación viajaban otros tres narcotraficantes: dos colombianos y un ecuatoriano, quienes transportaban 3.255 toneladas de cocaína. En total, se incautaron 6.68 toneladas de cocaína, valoradas en aproximadamente $167 millones de dólares. Esta operación establece un nuevo récord nacional, al superar las 6.606 toneladas decomisadas en una sola operación el pasado 13 de febrero de 2026. Con este nuevo golpe al narcotráfico internacional, El Salvador acumula ya 13.286 toneladas de cocaína incautadas en lo que va de 2026, valoradas en más de $332.15 millones de dólares. Seguimos llevando la guerra contra el narcotráfico donde antes operaban con total impunidad.

Parlamento Europeo pide sanciones contra Díaz-Canel y suspensión del acuerdo con Cuba El Parlamento Europeo aprobó este jueves una resolución en la que reclama sanciones de la Unión Europea contra Miguel Díaz-Canel y altos dirigentes de GAESA, exige la liberación inmediata de los 1.281 presos políticos contabilizados en Cuba y aboga por suspender el Acuerdo de Diálogo Político y Cooperación entre Bruselas y La Habana. El texto, respaldado por 283 eurodiputados, con 199 votos en contra y 85 abstenciones, sostiene que Cuba está «a punto de convertirse en un Estado fallido» y atribuye la emergencia humanitaria y la pobreza extrema que afecta al 89 % de las familias al «propio modelo y los fallos del régimen», y no al embargo estadounidense. Los eurodiputados reclamaron además «profundos cambios económicos y políticos», una transición democrática liderada por los cubanos, más ayuda humanitaria canalizada directamente a la población y el fin de la cooperación militar de La Habana con Rusia y Bielorrusia.

⚠️⚠️Santiago de Cuba se suma a las protestas... reportan detenidos y despliegue policial Cacerolazos y manifestaciones fueron reportados durante la noche de este miércoles en numerosos barrios de Santiago de Cuba, entre ellos Antonio Maceo, Veguita de Galo, Mármol, Altamira y Chicharrones. El periodista independiente Yosmany Mayeta Labrada difundió imágenes y testimonios sobre las protestas y denunció la presencia de boinas negras, patrullas, policías motorizados y bomberos en varias zonas de la ciudad, además de detenciones en Altamira. «La policía no sabe pa’ dónde coger. Se reportan protestas y fuertes cacerolazos en todos los repartos de la ciudad de Santiago de Cuba», escribió Mayeta en redes sociales. On June 16, at the direction of #SOUTHCOM commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations. Intelligence confirmed the vessel was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations. One male narco-terrorists was killed during this action, and there were two male survivors. Following the engagement, USSOUTHCOM immediately notified U.S. Coast Guard to activate the Search and Rescue system for the survivors. No U.S. military forces were harmed. @DeptofWar #OpSouthernSpear

He urgently needs medical attention and has not received it. No person - especially no child - should be imprisoned for their political or religious views. We call on the Cuban regime to immediately release him and all unjustly detained political prisoners.

This impactful legislation provides seniors with access to groundbreaking innovations that will transform how we detect, diagnose, and treat cancer, saving lives and improving outcomes through early detection. Early detection truly can save lives–– and it's one of the most powerful tools we have.
