Wallet found in Barceloneta, a few hundred meters away along the beach from Somorrostro beach (Olympic Port). This is the Mediterranean not the Atlantic ocean, you can't fall and drown unless pushed violently into the stones. Phone found by the police outside the water: "It remains to be determined what happened to his mobile phone, which was found in the beach area in the possession of a repeat offender who frequents the area." The story that he fell alone and drowned doesn't make sense.
