@J_M_G_B_ @MaritimeAn To compare these 3 indexes in one chart like this is just technically wrong and misleading. CCFI is a mix of FEU and TEU and index points. FBX & WCI is FEU only. If you want to compare apples to apples you can do only USWC & USEC translated into USD.

@J_M_G_B_ @MaritimeAn I see 3 curves all following the same trend. One curve with less volatility due to the contract rates being included on top of spot rates. The large gap between the FBX/WCI and CCFI curves has no further meaning and is technically wrong in the chart shown.

@InvestyMan @MaritimeAn In the recent period the curves are diverging with CCFI flat and the others trending up. You might recognize the diverging trend if you follow weekly spot rates. The area under the curve ( integral) is mathematically meaningful and shows that spot rates are more profitable.
