@Notwokenow When I lived in Phoenix years ago, lawn crews started at 6am because of the heat……and didn’t understand English to know you wanted them to come back later.

People who use their leaf blowers before 9am on Saturday mornings should be required to go to the 5 houses that surround them in every direction and deliver freshly baked cinnamon rolls and coffee as penance for disturbing the Saturday morning peace. And take dog treat to every dog, too.

Bald Head Island, North Carolina can only be reached by ferry, has no cars, 14 miles of wild beach, sea turtles nesting in summer, and a lighthouse that’s been watching over the Atlantic since 1817.
