Global prices for fossil fuels are soaring again, our energy bills will follow, inflation and lending rates ditto - and levels of poverty.   It didn’t have the be this way.   We could have 'broken the link' after the last big price shock, the Ukraine/Russia war. The link between global gas prices and homemade green energy.   It’s absurd, anti competitive and we need to break it.

The U.S. Energy Secretary just obliterated Net Zero ideology in 60 seconds. Oil, gas, and coal power EVERYTHING including green energy. This is what adults sound like. Liberals are not ready for this conversation.

@edwest The very reason we sent our daughter private - the worst behaved boy (and bully to boys and girls) in the class was given fidget spinners and allowed to remain in class when he spent the whole day causing trouble. Complaints yielded nothing except a lecture on tolerance.

Of course school lessons directed at boys were always going to be the centrepiece of the government's anti-misogyny policy. But this is ridiculous.
