@EarlyMusicWorld That wasn’t really the point, rather it’s that artists can serve as whistleblowers on society’s deterioration... yes we have to be resilient. But we should also be funded. There’s a limit to the cuts that can be endured.

@MarkBonneyTenor I have to say that is not my experience as regards the many artists I know, most of whom are as tough as old boots - out of necessity, since it is difficult for them to survive as artists otherwise.
