The Chagos deal is dead and good riddance. It was a strategic blunder from the start by this Labour government and a disaster waiting to happen. Many of us warned the government but they simply refused to listen, now they will have to make another humiliating U-turn.

Perhaps those close to the government who made very tidy sums promoting this disastrous deal might now consider donating some of those earnings to the Chagossian people whose interests were so often overlooked in the process.

I feel a deep sadness. So many of us worked very hard to get Trump back in office. We believed he would put America First and no new wars would be started.
What we have seen this term is the opposite of what we voted for, understand it is not MAGA that has changed, it is Trump.

As expected, Roberto De Zerbi uses his first interview, in-house Spurs media, to apologise for calling Mason Greenwood a “good guy” who paid a “heavy price”. Sensible/vital of the club to get their new head coach to address his wretched comments while Marseille coach given the understandable anger of Spurs fans.
“I'm sorry if I offended anyone's feelings with this subject matter,” De Zerbi told club media. “I have a daughter and I'm very sensitive to these things and I always have been. I have never wanted to downplay the issue of violence against women or violence against anyone more broadly. In my life, I've always stood up for those who are more vulnerable, more fragile.
