The Peace Country is home to one of the best trade schools in Alberta, and in some aspects the WORLD. We are home to the Harley Davidson training facility- a world renowned program. The finning Think Big program, heavy duty mechanics, RVT programming, just to name a few. The Fairview Campus of @NWP_AB has decided to merge all services on one campus- therefore shutting down massive programming on the Fairview campus. Check out how Fairview is advertised- in regards to the RVT programming. They were the home of the most unique Agriculture diploma program, first of its kind in all of Canada. Maybe the world? Collectively, our little town has started a massive campaign to try and save the college in one way or another. 75 years- this trade school has been operating. In my experience in being involved with the college, I personally have witnessed 3 dean changes, with only ever meeting one dean the one time, in regards to the ag programming. How do you have any credible direction when there is no stability? I’m talking in a span of 5-7 years. We have a long road ahead of us, and I know I have a larger following on here, so if you’re interested in helping advocating for us, to save the Fairview College, please check out their X account.
