This is why I coach- it's 7pm on a Thursday night, the ice is out on one of the rinks and there are some players out individually working on their shooting skills. How can you not want to work with these kids! Go lancers

Also to see a number of players who played for us from 1982 to 1987. Over 40 years ago for some of them. People just need to realize that coaching isn't just about wins, losses and games. It's about the lifetime relationships which are formed. I've been so.blessed

Today was a very bittersweet day as I attended the funeral.of former trinity head fb coach Dennis danko for whom i coached the offensive line. That was truly sad- but what a joy seeing some other assistant coaches and administrators who were such an integral part of the journey

Outstanding effort by our gilmour 19u tier 2 girls- defeating team wyoming 4-1. Next up against mountain selects tomorrow at 315.

Tough loss for the gilmour 19u tier 2 girls at the national Championships at mentor- losing 3-1 to a team from Seattle. Girls played well, just a couple of correctable mistakes. Back at it tomorrow at 115 at mentor against team wyoming

On the bench with our 19u tier2 girls team at a tournament in Buffalo. Played at a very cool covered outdoor rink. Lost to a team from Toronto 3-2 but good game to help prepare for the teams appearance in the nationals next week
