First ever spring break trip for Gilmour softball was a success! We went 3-1 across two days with many highlights. Personally, I caught two games and no runners attempted to steal while I was catching. I batted .667 with two doubles. I pitched 5 innings with 9 strikeouts, 1 walk and only gave up 2 earned runs. Although they were only scrimmages, I can’t wait for Gilmour’s official season to start tomorrow. Gilmour finished our Tennessee trip 3-1! Faced tough competition day 2. Went 2/4 with 2 walks & hit a 240 ft hr I had to run out 😂. Overall went 5/9, 4 steals, 3 RBIs, 2 hr and 1 2B in 4 games. @CoachScibelli @CoachWallace29 @marleewilson @Coach_MGardner @greg_mcquillin

🏒 To that point, 1 of the kids - I think it was Grant Baucher - asked me if I needed help getting off the ice in dress shoes, which was incredibly kind, especially amid a championship moment like that I was fine, but the gesture was appreciated
