Wrote to @British_Airways in March, advised by BA to cancel my flight to Rio due to Heathrow power outage..flight actually operated and they wouldn't reinstate booking.
Not even courtesy of a response still, but checked online and case closed?

Today, we were treated to an incredible celebratory brunch.. caviar, lobster, king crab, prime rib, amazing pastries, hand made pasta dishes cooked to order, decadent desserts, cheeses, cured meats and more.

Thanks @British_Airways .. your call centre advised me to cancel my booking in BA249 for tonight as it was cancelled.
Then they told me they couldn't reinstate as I had requested a refund.
Pretty disgusting service and a dream trip cancelled needlessly.
