ALACE is delighted that @hmtreasury has announced that the exit cap regulations have been scrapped. We will stand firm with @LLGLegal, advised by @MarkGreenburgh (naturally), in opposing any revised proposals that count pension strain for #localgov staff.

HM Treasury has just announced the revocation of the Restriction of Public Sector Exit Pay Regs. This ill-fated and badly thought through legislation had a pernicious effect, especially on pension in local gov. We await settlement proposals for JR claims @LLGLegal @ALACE13474627
