@glenngabe Is Google already doing this in AI mode? I can see this link coming from a product feed, but the URL tracking shows "medium=cpc" and other ad signals. Wrong use of tracking by the vendor, or a sneaky unattributed ad link from Google?

In case you missed this the other day, it's a big deal. OpenAI is testing various ways to provide ads in ChatGPT answers, including *prioritizing sponsored parts of the answer*. Google had also explained in the past they were thinking about having sponsored parts of AIOs but we have not seen that yet. The risk of doing that is huge... If you lose the trust of users, you're done. Will be interesting to follow. :) From the article: "OpenAI's AI models could prioritize sponsored content to ensure it shows up in ChatGPT responses." ChatGPT could give "sponsored information preferential treatment in responses to users' ChatGPT queries."
