Wolfsburg have brought back their 20th-century coat of arms club crest, after 24 years of fan’s consistently requesting it…
It was a surprise announcement before the match vs Bayern last weekend.
Look at what it means to those fans. 🥹💚
Millwall fan base is a myth. Quiet all match and not even up for it afterwards. All dog walked home by coppers. Nonce brigade but they shout millll every now and then. Worst fans all season #hcafc
@SBMowing I can kind of see where the couple allowed it to ‘get out of hand’, and clearly you’ve done an amazing job
You’ve got all the correct equipment
However, surely dad could have helped you?
Would have been great for him to learn, so that it doesn’t happen again
When you pitch invade and celebrate without spotty little shits and weird foreigners criticising you all for over celebrating because the reason isn’t big enough
@theawayfans Kane and Rice choice of partners is a great illustration of why England won't win trophies
They both settled for low quality women when they could partnered at the very top end
The absolute definition of mid
Harry Kane is 32 years old, married to his childhood sweetheart, has four children, runs his own mental health foundation, and donates regularly to armed forces and mental health charities. He doesn't drink, doesn't smoke, and has spent his entire career in the spotlight without a single scandal attached to his name.
On the pitch, the numbers are extraordinary. His country's all-time top scorer. His boyhood club's all-time top scorer. Six Golden Boots, four in the Premier League, one at a World Cup. Figures that the vast majority of strikers will never get close to.
And yet he remains one of the most written-off and underappreciated players of his generation. A man who has devoted everything to club and country, never once put a foot wrong off the pitch, and embodies every quality you could want from a professional footballer.
If you're looking for a role model, it doesn't get much cleaner than this. The fact it even needs pointing out says everything.
@jwfoxx7@BS3Rob I’ll give you that Joel, one thing that I will say about our fans is that, we sing about other teams/places far too much.
Agree that we should spend far more time, singing songs that purely back our own team
@BS3Rob Hello Rob, the poor numbers you brought wasn’t the issue. You only sang about us, no actual chants for your own team. You were genuinely quiet compared to most, so the fact you’ve called it ‘proper’ made me laugh. Sorry for rattling you x
@taxeswalker@Cam_Jourdan Shut up dude 😂 the euros were calling Brian Hartman a bald midget redneck and were telling him he’s gonna choke and doesn’t have what it takes when he won the open (pardon my take podcast interview) the euros are just as bad on their home soil they just get a pass.
Matt Fitzpatrick was asked about his reaction to the crowds down the stretch at the RBC Heritage:
"It didn't get out of line in terms of no one was shouting on backswings or anything like that, which was great. I'm all for it. I love the people -- they're supporting Scottie; that's great. You want golf to have an atmosphere in my opinion. I grew up watching football. I'm paid so much money to be out there in front of those crowds, having them chanting at you every week, it's great feeling.
"However, there's no better feeling than coming out on top against that. There isn't a better feeling."
People are sharply divided on this 👇🏼
An Indiana family (Sydney and Kyle Tash and their infant daughter Ellie) was recently removed from an Allegiant Airlines flight from Punta Gorda, Florida, to Indianapolis after their baby became fussy and cried during a delay. The parents say her red face was simply from crying and being overheated in the cabin. They tried to comfort her by lightly adjusting her clothing.
A flight attendant expressed concern that the baby appeared feverish or unwell. The crew followed standard procedure by consulting Allegiant’s medical support service (MedLink). Based on the description provided, MedLink advised it wasn’t in the child’s best interest to fly. The family was asked to deplane. No temperature was taken onboard, and the parents maintain their daughter was healthy—just upset.
Allegiant has stated that crews aren’t medical professionals and must prioritize safety for everyone on board. They described the decision as following industry-wide protocols when potential health concerns arise with an infant.
The story has gone viral, with many passengers and online viewers debating where the line is between caution and overreach. The family later flew home on a later flight.
Air travel with babies is never easy. How do you think airlines should handle situations like this?
@corydtweets@RockandPinball@drivelinelive Who takes the liability if someone eating an apple and getting sick ? Most trucking companies won’t allow that for that reason alone. It’s not as cut and dry as you think it is. I worked in a grocery store the food banks do sue.
@JC_1973@Athersmike Imagine living in an area that voted to leave the EU, and accusing random people on the internet of being Tories 😂😂 blimey, that’s enough for me today
I spent the opening day of the season at Taunton. Always a pleasure to go to Somerset- a model county club; good players who challenge for silverware; prudently run- profitable, little debt; distinctive local flavour. thetimes.com/sport/cricket/…
@JC_1973@Athersmike Not in the slightest, I just have a working knowledge of the system. Where’s, you appear to have randomly got angry at Mike Atherton
@MarkHirons5@Athersmike I’m not angry. Somerset aren’t an underdog. They have access to ready made cricketers from the best cricket schools in the country. Simple.
@JC_1973@Athersmike Hardly news though, is it. County cricket is built off the back of that model. Durham being a relatively successful exception to that rule, won’t change things. No point in getting angry about it
@MarkHirons5@Athersmike It’s true tho.Very easy to be frugal and well run when you have to pay absolutely no money to produce players that’s all. I like somerset just reject the reference from Athers. As I say James Rew school fee cost 10k a term……a term!!! It’s just mental people get that head start
