I support voter ID and believe that only U.S. citizens should vote in our elections. But the SAVE America Act goes beyond that and provides no time for proper implementation. It would ultimately disenfranchise some Americans in rural communities, so I oppose it. Read more about my opposition here: wsj.com/opinion/why-im…

The vicious comments I’m seeing about Ashley Webb online are disgusting and just plain cruel. What is wrong with people? They need to stop now. Running for office is an act of hope, a belief that this country should work for all of us. Ashley has put her name out there. That is an act of courage. No one should ever be subjected to this type of bullying, especially at the hands of people who hide behind a keyboard while Ashley had the courage to put herself out there.

The attacks mocking Ashley are bullshit and gross. She seems sincere. Regardless of whether she is qualified or not to be a senator. Too much of our politics takes pleasure in tearing people apart simply for being who they are. We should be better than that. Let Ashley do what she believes is right for the country. Agree with her or disagree with her, but treat her with basic respect. #nhpolitics
