New Mexico Senator David Gallegos (SD-41) would make a great Republican Senator for the State of Texas. Once Lea (pop. 75,151), Eddy (67,759), Chaves (63,697), and Otero (pop. 68,823) counties become a part of Texas, the counties could be incorporated into Texas Senate District 29 -- which is currently held by Senator César Blanco, a Democrat from El Paso. That would add over 275,000 people to the State of Texas and allow us to turn Senate District 29 from BLUE to RED. Senator David Gallegos helped lead the charge in seeing Lea County, the City of Hobbs, and the City of Eunice pass local Sanctuary for the Unborn ordinances in New Mexico and was also involved in the effort to see Lubbock County become a Sanctuary County for the Unborn. His commitment to protecting pregnant mothers and their unborn children from the violence of abortion and his commitment to the oilfield industry would make him a perfect fit to help represent the shared conservative values of Southeastern New Mexico and West Texas. #MakeTexasBiggerAgain

I live in Texas. I've lost a child. The miscarriage lies they tell you are bull. In February of 2023 I found out that my baby didn't have a heartbeat. When my hysterical sobs subsided in the sonogram room, my OBGYN kindly (and with much grace) gave me my options: I could let nature take its course, I could jump-start the process with medication, or I could opt for a D&C. At no point was I blamed or questioned. It wasn't my fault. I was a grieving mother...I am still a grieving mother...who lost her child. The medical system and the people within it, did what they could for me throughout the entire process. My story is not an outlier. It's the norm. We do not live in a dystopian novel. Shit happens. Awful shit happens. But don't you DARE scare women who are out there just trying to build a family for your own political gain. Monsters. Every one of you who push this narrative that women will be imprisoned for a miscarriage.
