Experimenting. Intrigued with what I have experienced using this grip. Two non-negotiables in the swing to pull it off. I have been hitting bombs with driver and added 10 to 15 w/ irons.😳 Aldrich Potgieter - Driver - Mid 190's Ball Speed youtube.com/shorts/wzVs_3m… via @YouTube

Is this the worst grip on tour? I’m a huge fan of Jordan Spieth but this not optimal.

@My_Other_Place @Toddgravesgolf He is saying that the hands return higher than they started. Some teachers believe it is impossible to imapct in the same position as address. This is bc many golfers don’t rotate the arms to have the club return in front, rather they turn the body and pull the club to impact.

@Toddgravesgolf "Youre not going to impact a golf ball with your hands down here" Its not clear what you are meaning, other than the shoulder tilt you incorporated, outside of that I have no idea what you are referring to

Moe Norman made the golf swing repeatable by removing the extra moving parts. Instead of forcing the body to recover from a complicated two-plane setup, the single plane swing starts closer to impact. Trail arm aligned. Club aligned. Body tilted. Hands positioned. Less compensation. Less timing. More repeatable impact. Simple enough to feel laughable, but powerful enough to change your ball striking. #MoeNorman #SinglePlaneSwing #GolfSwingTips #BallStriking #ToddGraves

@SportsCenter You will benefit greatly by leaving yourself an uphill putt or chip as you as you make your approach.

Amateur golfers would do much better if they only attempted the yardage to the back of the green for approach shot longer than a wedge. Try the front 9 that way and back 9 your normal go at the flag way, and let’s see which score is better.

@ClassicSwingX They were thinking that? Best thing they can do is watch Hogan’s Ed Sullivan clip.

Ben Hogan’s left arm got closer to his chest as he turned through the shot. Instinctually, a lot of golfers “chicken wing” because they think they can hit the ball harder. But that’s not how serious compression is created. Pull in as you turn the corner, and keep that upper left arm tied to the chest. That’s where the speed, control, and compression come together. My upcoming Classic Swing Golf Schools are June 20–21 at Grapevine Golf Course in Texas and July 17–19 at Foxwoods in Connecticut. Email school@classicswing.golf for details.

Being data-driven coaches doesn’t mean we let a computer run the lesson. It means we rely on data to set the direction, but the art of coaching still delivers the result. 🏌️ Will Chandler

@ClassicSwingX Very true why ppl struggle with half shots due to backswing and downswing not in same position. Full swing can get away with variation (J. Furyk) but also why an on plane swing like A. Scott has half, 3/4, and full shot opportunities without changing their swing.

The release is everything. The real magic happens from the left arm at 9:00 to 3:00. Master this push-pull dynamic… and you’ll start to feel what a truly solid golf shot is supposed to be. 📍 Next Weekend Golf School: June 20–21 📧 christo@classicswing.golf for lesson inquiries

@ClassicSwingX Lots of Tour players use that move and the club face like yours is the key bc you don’t want to release the arms so pulling the club is the only way to go. Can be very effective from a shut position.

The Power Stretch gets a lot of attention… but without the contraction, it’s wasted. You need something to fire it back. That’s where the “lawnmower move” comes in. It pulls you around the corner, delivers the stored energy, and keeps the club accelerating through impact. That’s the missing link for a lot of golfers. I’ll be breaking the Classic Swing in my next FREE webinar — May 1st at 7pm CT. Come join me and feel the difference for yourself! Link in first comment.

I’ve just created a free group on X. No paid access. No guru nonsense. No signals. No sales funnel. The goal is simple: A serious space for like-minded investors to discuss markets, share research, break down news, challenge ideas, and learn from each other in real time. What it is: • Research sharing • Smart market discussion • News flow and reactions • Networking with serious people • Different views, same goal: improve What it is not: • Spam & pump • A sales funnel • Buy/sell alerts • Self-promotion • Financial advice What’s expected: • Add value • Be respectful • Think independently • Debate ideas, not people If you want in, comment: YES I’ve already tried adding everyone who requested access so far, but X has changed group messaging. You may need to update your X app enable the new X Chat system by opening messages and setting your personal 4-digit PIN first. Once that’s done, I can add you. -BP $IREN $CIFR $NBIS $AAOI $OUST $AMPX $RKLB $HIMS $PNG.V $ONDS

@ClassicSwingX I have been on it with the developers. It moves the club, you hang on. Problem is the body moves the club. There is nothing that puts the person in the same position as the player so there won’t be any speed or leverage with out matching the body position.

@MarkMooreGolf @jamierkennedy I'll take your word for it. Are you saying McIlroy is averaging 341 this week with no roll? Regardless of the slopes I feel confident that 1996 Tiger with modern equipment could match what Rory is doing.

Rory McIlroy leads the Masters with an average driving distance of 341 yards. What's the Masters record? In 1996, Tiger Woods averaged 342 yards.

@BobBoucher23 @jamierkennedy Exactly, and players carry it farther today. Fairways were mown down grain then. He did not hit farther than today’s equipment. Go compare his other years, he only hit wedge into 15 a few times after that bc they lengthened the course. Today they land into the slope, no roll.
