Mayo 4-26, Roscommon 2-11. The Rossies end their Division One campaign with a big defeat in Castlebar. So easy for the home side. Only consolation is that Roscommon will be a much-changed side when the sides probably meet again in a Connacht semi-final in five weeks' time.

Looks like league final appearance is not on Andy's agenda but it might not be on other teams either inc Ros so we could end up in it by default for second year in a row! Great for the "Hugh and Jack man" to get a run and also good to see TC back on the bench @AhRefMayo

Great to see 1st league starts for Livingstone, O'Loughlin & Howard. John MacMonagle, Dylan Thornton, Kuba Callaghan & Frank Irwin potentially getting their first minutes of the year (or Livingstone, O'Loughlin, JMacM & Callaghan their 1st ever in the league).

@ballsdotie Is it a problem? Adapting to conditions is an old skill. The two-pointer changes the arithmetic but little else. There was the odd farce last year (hi, Galway/Donegal in Salthill). But the idea of teams always being beaten by HT is poor punditry (hi, Galway/Roscommon in Salthill)

Not just a Roscommon league win, just the county in general.
(Yeah. Any of a Kerry loss, a Donegal loss or a Donegal draw combined with a Roscommon win and it's easy enough for them to make the final there)

Wouldn't usually be a big fan of AI, it too often makes daft & very obvious errors that aren't nearly often enough caught by end users.
It's choice here to completely remove Roscommon from all considerations one of the few times I've seen it try to do anything positive.
