@SonofManwithus The ecumenical documents of V2 encourage us to dialogue with what we hold in common instead of focusing differences. In that ecumenical spirit of what we share in common there can be friendship, yeah, but the fullness of the truth subsists in the Catholic Church only

So pope Leo has signed an alliance with Islam. Saying "we can be friends". So I will ask you guys. Are Christianity and Islam compatable?

Vance: I recognize that a lot of young voters don’t love the policy that we have on the Middle East… Don’t get disengage because you disagree with the admin on one topic. Get more involved. That’s how we take the country back.

Very interested in the results here… Catholics: would you say that in terms of holiness & righteousness—is Mary closer other humans or is she closer to God?

@CountryFirstRep I don't agree, he reformed the Republican Party and its base to care about America First issues, even if he has dropped the ball on those things. The national awakening can't be undone.

Donald Trump is the worst thing to ever happen to the Republican Party, the conservative movement, American politics, and respect for America around the world. Never Trumpers have been right since the moment he came down the golden escalator.

@TaylorRMarshall Yes, but not "always have." For much of history pre-Vatican I kings and emperors had more real power than the Pope, even in their own Church. Vatican I really cemented the right relationship between these. In theory it was this way, but not actually, until V1.

I don't understand why everyone, pro or anti Orbán, is apparently OK with Hungary being a republic. I'm not. No matter who is Prime Minister, it is an abomination for Hungary to have a “President.” St. Stephen did not found a Republic!

In recent weeks, during the holiest season of the Christian calendar, I have been deeply concerned by the rhetoric of President Trump. His remarks during Holy Week and Easter fall short of the standard one would expect from both his office and his professed Christian faith.  His threat to eradicate an entire civilization goes beyond what can be considered just or morally acceptable in war.  Likewise, his criticism of Pope Leo, whom he has disparaged as “weak” and “very liberal,” is misguided. The Holy Father’s call for peace, dialogue, and conversion of heart in the face of war arises not from partisanship or political bias, but from his Christian identity and mission as Supreme Pastor of Christ’s Church on earth.  The Church’s mission is to preach the Good News of her divine founder, Jesus Christ, proclaiming peace, truth, and the dignity of every human person.  “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” (Matthew 5:9)

@ChristopherHale There was a time when Democrats were the party of the working class and Republicans were the party of Big Business. Now Democrats are the party of extreme social activism and illegal immigration and GOP are Zionist faux patriots. Nobody represents us. We're unmoored.

@PaulinusOfTrier I had to learn enough Hungarian to get citizenship through simplified naturalization. Knowing Latin greatly helped with the Hungarian grammar, not in a 1:1 way, but the agglutination system is similar. Vocabulary is totally foreign

Hungarian seems to be a very difficult language. I offered parishioners free Latin lessons and a Hungarian family took me up on the offer. I began in the time honoured way with Mensa, and explained the six cases. The mother asked "Is that all the cases?" I said yes, unless you count the locative." "Oh good!" she said. "In Hungarian we have 18, not counting various others which make it twenty-five."

Pope Leo XIV opposes unjust war, genocide, abortion, contraception, same-sex marriage, IVF, and transsexualism. Trump is soft or permissive on ALL those issues. Yet Trump calls the Pope “weak.” Who is the “weak” one?

@nntaleb Joseph II did not "go after the Pope." This was the era before Vatican I, when the Pope was largely an Italian duke, and Catholic monarchs had more say in their national churches than Popes did. It is anachronistic to say so.

The Papacy is still standing. The following monarchs who went after the pope had their dynasties eventually evaporate: Henry IV of Fr. (1050–1106), Henry V (1086–1125), Lothair III (1075–1137), Conrad III (1093–1152), Frederick I Barbarossa (1122–1190), Henry II of England (1133–1189), Frederick II (1194–1250), Philip IV of France (1268–1314), Louis IV of Bavaria (1282–1347), Sigismund (1368–1437), Louis XII of France (1462–1515), Ferdinand II of Aragon (1452–1516), Charles V (1500–1558), Francis I of France (1494–1547), Henry VIII (1491–1547), Philip II of Spain (1527–1598), Elizabeth I (1533–1603), Gustavus Adolphus (1594–1632), Leopold I (1640–1705), Louis XIV (1638–1715), Joseph II (1741–1790), Napoleon Bonaparte (1769–1821), Wilhelm II (1859–1941)..

🚨 Nick Fuentes goes THERMONUCLEAR on Rad-Trads calling them schismatics. 🚨 Rad-trads putting politics and personal preferences over the Catholic Church’s authority are turning faith into ideology—just like the liberals they hate. “TLM is superior” “That’s not my Pope” Etc..
