Former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor visited the College of Law in October 2001 and was awarded the Willa Cather Medal from former University of Nebraska Chancellor Harvey Perlman. The first female on the U.S. Supreme Court, Justice O'Connor died today at 93.
