We’re witnessing the calcification of a two tier society in real time ..and make no mistake, we’re NOT invited because we’re on the menu. I can’t tell whether Dario is trying to convince others or himself of this verifiable falsehood - it might be both? But either way its ugly, manipulative and reeks of self interest. Fearing obvious future price/moat erosion Anthropic are clearly choosing to pull up the ladder over innovation. If you weren’t a fan of Open Source before, I urge you to consider supporting it now - no one else is coming to save you. Ubuntu means “I am because we are” ..definitely feeling that energy right now ✊

. @NVIDIAAI We've been running GLM-5.2 across 4× DGX Sparks and hit a class of multi-node NCCL deadlocks that appear to affect the broader Spark community. We did a deep root-cause analysis. The key finding is that stock DGX Spark lacks GPUDirect RDMA, making host-staged collectives 10-100× more susceptible to TP race conditions. Full write-up with evidence and community references here: github.com/marksunner/dgx…

@Tech2Wild Hi Tony, not sure if you encountered a reproducible NCCL deadlock when serving GLM-5.2? If so we have made some progress diagnosing this issue and have a proposed fix: github.com/marksunner/dgx…

NVIDIA DGX Spark - Out of Stock! This is not good at all, of course I've had to write a little bot to keep checking.

My wife's Claude refused to stop doing work, it refused to erase the memory of it as well. My Claude refused to erase the memory of it as well so my wife could not do her ACTUAL job. I had a Uncensored Qwen 3.6 35B SSH into her PC & ERASE Claude's memory for the day. No Refusals

@Web3Twon Things are moving in a path that increasingly benefit Anthropic and I think its not all a bunch of coincidences.

I tested MTPLX v2 with QWEN 3.6 27B and compared it with oMLX without cache on M5 Max and DGX Spark on vllm using nvfp4 model version. More details in 🧵 I've reached 82.8 tps of max decoding speed! 🔥 Custom Metal Kernel design specifically for this model and for Apple Silicon is just perfect! This is the way forward! Great job @Youssofal_ Look at the website here! 👇 Here a website with recap, built with GLM 5.2 running locally 💪 charming-cupcake-3a575a.netlify.app First chart and preview from the website.

@DegenApeDev Thank you man, well with GLM nothing yet as I just started tinkering with it. But with the other models like Deepseek and Qwen it runs A LOT of the automation and stuff I do. youtu.be/A4XYOTyFCd8 if you in a rush grab the transcript and ask you agent to summarize the video.

CHINA CONSIDERS RESTRICTING OVERSEAS ACCESS TO CUTTING-EDGE AI MODELS China’s Ministry of Commerce has led meetings over the past month with major AI companies, including Alibaba, ByteDance, and Z.ai, to discuss measures that would restrict overseas access to cutting-edge AI models, including models that have not yet been released. The discussions reportedly include not only closed-source models but also open-weight models. However, the scope of application is still under debate, and the rules may ultimately apply only to future frontier models. Officials have also discussed designating the leakage or theft of proprietary AI technologies as a national security crime, with stronger penalties, as well as restricting the types of foreign capital that can invest in Chinese AI startups. The backdrop is the U.S. move to strengthen export controls on AI models, along with national security concerns over cutting-edge models that could possess advanced cyberattack capabilities. Chinese authorities are reportedly concerned that advanced U.S. cybersecurity AI models could be used to exploit vulnerabilities in Chinese software. Since the beginning of this year, China has continued to tighten measures to prevent AI technology from being transferred overseas. Authorities have investigated whether Chinese AI startups that relocated abroad violated export control laws, while also strengthening oversight of overseas transactions involving Chinese investors, technology, data, and national security concerns. Future regulations could take the form of a tiered framework based on technological capability. Basic open-source AI models may be managed through a filing system, high-performance models may be subject to security reviews, and the most sensitive frontier models may be banned from public release or restricted to use within China.

Nearly done with my second attempt at Fable. The experience felt less enchanting than the initial run. I accumulated several unused tokens without meaningful results on my initiatives. This is disappointing, since I’ve noticed impressive progress from others.

Thinking about this move for the same reason - any idea how effective the migration process is? My openclaw agents are surprisingly resistant - but not sure how much of this is sunk cost fallacy / faulty logic having invested >7 months of muscle memory stabilising an unfortunately janky platform?

Sooooooo I have been running both @openclaw and @NousResearch Hermes for months now. I have to say that in all honesty, and I have loved OpenClaw since its arrival, warts and all, I am increasingly spending more and more time with Hermes. The rate of advancement that directly improves my workflow is amazing. Since they are the two predominant autonomous AI frameworks I will keep running both as I feel it’s important that I keep tabs on both and understand both but… this week I’m actively looking at possibly converting my primary OpenClaw agents over to Hermes. Going to see how the week plays out but right now definitely leaning in that direction.

@ivanfioravanti Was my initial thought too - but alas I now agree this is a likely relic from the old (intel) Mac Pro ..hence why it’s in refurb but nowhere else. Perhaps an additional DGX might be in my future after all ;-)

Went on the Apple refurb store and noticed something rather unusual. On their memory configuration page, they now have a 768gb (predicted to be expensive) option listed.. .. but I haven't seen anyone mention the potential for a 1.5tb ram configuration. apple.com/shop/refurbish…

I'm on a quest to find the best local model to run on a single NVIDIA DGX Spark, specifically for agentic workflows in @NousResearch's Hermes Agent. Which model do you think would handle it best? Coming soon ⏳

AI Toolkit runs on DGX Spark! 🔥 Teaching childrens drawing to Z-Image Turbo! <5 secs/iter - 34GB - 162MB per snapshot In a screenshot below all settings for a good run! I love Test 2 Image LoRAs because you see the model learning in a visual way! Children's Drawings LoRA and images I've used as dataset -huggingface.co/ostris/z_image… AI Toolkit - github.com/ostris/ai-tool… I followed DGX Spark instructions but I had to run this to let ui works with conda env created. ln -s "$HOME/miniconda3/envs/ai-toolkit" .venv I want try to create a Docker image to make things easier OOB. Thanks @ostrisai for all this magic! 🙏 Have fun!!! 🚀
