It was an honour to celebrate the winners of mine and @JackSargeantAM's Christmas card competition at @ToyotaUK. Diana Kushnir of Ewloe Green Community Primary School was our overall winner. Her design will be sent to Prime Minister Keir Starmer and First Minister Eluned Morgan.

It was great to return to Buckley St Matthew's Beavers group again this year for UK Parliament Week. The group has been learning about democracy and we held a vote to decide the name of the new leader - the winning name was Aurora. #UKParliamentWeek

One of my @UKParliament Week activities this year was a visit to Ms Caswell's year 3 pupils at Westwood CP School in Buckley. The children had great questions; from shops in Buckley to nature spaces for wildlife, and whether or not I have met the King ✅🫅 #UKParliamentWeek

It was a pleasure to visit @RSPB_BurtonMere recently and see some of the birdlife that includes avocets, egrets, harriers, redshanks and lapwings. Sadly, RSPB officers reported that raptor persecution is still an issue: rspb.org.uk/birds-and-wild…

It was good to visit @North_Wales_WT recently at its Aberduna nature reserve and offices at Maeshafn outside Mold. The trust has 35 nature reserves, 10,000 members, 800 volunteers and 75 employees across North Wales.

I've been talking with @CashAccessUK for the past year or so about plans for Flint Banking Hub. Final preparations are under way and there is a community event on Wednesday 20th where you can attend and find out more.
