Writing APIs on NESTJS is fun until you are about to deploy. Deployment process is hectic...

I stopped using AWS for hosting my API server, it's super good and powerful but too much for my needs, I will try Digital Ocean as a chipper alternative, what provider would you recommend for hosting NodeJS?

Now that Heroku is no longer going to be free for developers 😭 what other alternatives are you using?

Created with React, Express js, node and Javascript. Need to render but dependencies conflict is stopping heroku from hosting successfully.

@raimohanska As one of the founders, I may be *slightly* biased. But we're aiming to be the best developer experience out there. And our free tier includes your database, either Postgres or MongoDB.

@MarkTerrel Haven't tried that one, thanks for pointing it out. We only included solutions that we have actually tried, which I hope makes sense. How would you describe your experiences with Adaptable.io and especially the free-tier offering. Maybe even in comparison to others?

What’s your favorite way of hosting a (smaller, non-commercial) static site online? ⚠️ Don’t reply if your service has already been mentioned! In that case, like that reply. That way, we get a feeling of how popular the various options are.

Now that your code works locally on your machine, you want to deploy it. Find articles to help you with a deployment. @heroku used to be free but there’s other way. How about giving a try with @awscloud Lambda or @googlecloud run with free credits?

Do you want to… Build your own IT project? Get a full stack or data engineering job? Share your personal projects? All with low coding skills, no deployment knowledge and minimal effort, but you don’t know where to start? This thread is for you!
