Oh Boy: Raiders rookie QB Fernando Mendoza is under intense criticism online for saying he will miss visiting the White House with Indiana to practice.
“As a rookie, I don't think that's a good look. I gotta prove myself. I can't miss practice."
😬😬😬
@fentonc13 I like Bo, but he is not a major league hitter and doesn't belong up here. Kwan needs some low stress at bats at the bottom of the order with Rocchio.
@GuardiansTalk Underwood and Manning are good team and know the game, the players and audience. It's a shame they can't keep them together. Andre doesn't really add anything so no real loss there.
@AirJordans2323 He is an embarrassment to the league, his team, whatever legacy he has left, and I can't believe there are still people who idolize and defend this clown.
@GuardsJoey Fry and Brito are treated too nicely. Both deserve an F based purely on their contributions (or lack thereof) both offensively and defensively.
He played for Cleveland in 1988.
He took them to the World Series as Manager in 2016.
A legend through and through.
RT to wish THE GREAT Terry Francona a happy 67th birthday!

@Mappy6984 Does anybody else remember the (now clearly) idiotic talk about LeFlop being a 2 sport athlete and playing Tight End in the NFL? He is embarrassing himself, the sport, and the team for which he plays.
How dare the people who elected me and for whom I work criticize me! I’m the Philly mayor dammit and I’ll use the power of my office to take your money by taxing your Uber rides whenever I want!
Respect my authority! Or else!
It is with profound sadness that we announce the loss of Bob Kevoian, beloved co-founder and longtime host of The Bob & Tom Show, who passed away peacefully Friday afternoon at his home, surrounded by family and friends. Details regarding memorial services will be shared at a later time.
@FranmilsEyebrow That error last night cost us a game. Yes, we were spoiled with Gimme there, but Schneeman is more than competent (if we aren't calling up Bazzana yet). Brito on a very short leash. Agree that Fry needs to go.
I’ve slept on it, and I’m willing to give Juan Brito more time to work. He’s useful on one side of the ball, at least.
David Fry, though, isn’t. Give me Stuart Fairchild, and roll with two catchers like any other normal team.
there is a man cussing me out in ig DM’s because i said the guardians haven’t been known as a home run hitting team 🙂
am i missing something? have we been watching different teams over the last few years?
@ericmmatheny I'm personally a big fan of the flat tax, and have been since the 1980's when Steve Forbes tried running for President on a flat tax platform.
It's simple. It's easy. There are no loopholes, deductions, or credits. Everyone's tax burden is proportionally equal.
What would work better?
A flat tax rate where everybody - regardless of income level - pays a fixed percentage;
Or
A consumption-based national sales tax system where you are only taxed on goods you purchase?
