BIG PRICES NEED BIG SHILLS - a thread:
Something that has bothered me ever since I entered this space in 2017-2018 is that I have not truly believed in basically any narrative in the space expect that potentially if global Gov's allow, $BTC may be able to become a digital gold for younger people and end up stabilizing around a Market Cap the size of Gold (or they dilute each other).
Everything else in Crypto hasn't made sense to me long term:
👉$ system overthrow? Lol y would they let that happen? They would rather kill you.
👉Young ppl wanna live in VR: really? The internet is making us all miserable and alone. Look at the data in kids since 1995 & Johnathan Haidt's work. Young ppl are not doing well in their current space and isolating tech, echo chambers etc. making things worse. We're seeing cultural discourse with this (aka "touch grass guys" - we know it)
👉Replaces tradfi $$ transfer infrastructure - okay cool maybe. But you think us little guys will be the ones profiting off of that? Why would banks buy incredibly inflated BTC/existing asset to do this when they could introduce their own and sell it to the masses through colluding with the government (oh look - CBDC's)
👉Gonna replace traditional fiat systems - why does any normie not interested in crypto want to stop using a credit card and start dealing with crypto? Theres a technical barrier to entry that this market sucks at trying to get rid of.
I've always felt everything except the gold narrative in this space is a scam until proven otherwise. So how do I try to make money in a market I feel this way about?

A nice current example: $UNIBOT (see chart below)
OMGGGG if you hadn't heard about UNIBOT the last couple month idk how. Right? COUNTLESS tweets from larger accounts talking about how much better than uniswap it is. Analyses of how much money the team is making and how easy its going to be for them to capture market share through incentives, revenue share, etc etc. "Use my ref link" etc. This is the best thing ever right? The numbers WORK.
Then why is price down 75% right now? I thought this was an indispensable tool for trading defi with healthy amounts of funds to ensure market stickiness? Go look at the big accounts who were shilling and see how much they are talking about it now vs. when price was at $100-$200.
PRICES NEED SHILLS.
How will the people who get in on initial sales cash out at high prices if there is not enough liquidity to cash out in a smooth manner? You need to drum up demand.
I think there may be an edge in quantifying the number of mentions and engagement a coin is getting, and figuring out what a typical correlation to its price chart looks like for any given shilled shitcoin. Could legit just watch for trending shills on new coins, hop on, and start selling when the shilling frequency begins to drop.
Will try to add to this with better details and data. But hope this paints a decent picture.

Also FWIW I am not critcizing anyone/project. I am trying to discuss a strategy for improving performance on low-caps.🤝
