Well, Tucker’s not fucking wrong is he??! British media clutching their pearls

I'm honestly shocked. The BBC quotes Republican politician Randy Fine calling Tucker Carlson an antisemite. Randy Fine is an extreme racist. And I mean, really extreme. He has said: "If they force us to choose, the choice between dogs and Muslims is not a difficult one." "‘Palestinian’ is just another word for demon." In reference to "mainstream Muslims", he said: “I don’t know how you make peace with those who seek your destruction. I think you destroy them first." “There is no suffering adequate for these animals. May the streets of Gaza overflow with blood.” "“Palestinian” = Hamas. #BombsAway" "Gaza must be destroyed." These are all direct quotes. I could go on. What was the BBC thinking? How could they possibly conclude that this was an acceptable person to quote on anything, let alone on the question of racism? If a Republican politician had said similar statements about Jewish people, would the BBC quote them? No, they would not, they would - rightly - think that would be a scandalous thing to do. Seriously, what the hell is the justification here? What is the defence? How are Muslims supposed to do anything other than conclude that the BBC has contempt for them?

Shame on @vicderbyshire for debasing herself as a journalist & joining in the use of the 'antisemite slur' to attack a legitimate point of view. And props to @TuckerCarlson for pushing back & calling it out. We need more of this against msm , please, especially the @bbc

It was telling to see @vicderbyshire, who is without doubt a vast improvement on @bbclaurak, suddenly become stony faced when talking to Tucker Carlson this morning. His clear highlighting of Israel's hand in all mid East conflicts was not in line with the BBC rules!

After years in development, Harriet Gardens has opened in Rutherglen as Social Bite’s second homeless village in Scotland. The £3 million supported living community includes 15 single-person modular homes, a central community hub, and shared facilities designed to provide a more stable alternative to hostels and other temporary accommodation. The project was developed in partnership with South Lanarkshire Council and is run day to day by The Salvation Army. Residents are expected to stay for around six to 12 months, with wraparound support aimed at helping them move into long-term independent housing. Organisers describe Harriet Gardens as a purpose-built response to homelessness that combines housing, support, and community in one site. The opening follows a three-year wait and builds on the model first tested by Social Bite in Edinburgh, which has supported around 100 people since 2018.
