It's not VAR that I necessarily have a problem with. It's the spending minutes agonizing over millimetres, the laws that seemingly arrive one week and are gone the next, the shit LinkedIn-language explanations that mean nothing to normal fans.
It's the sending a referee to a monitor and the subsequent pretense he's going to go against what he's being told, because referees are terrified of being seen to disagree with each other.
VAR itself could and should be a massive positive. It's the idiots implementing it that are the problem.
