Hampshire's Knox Homola won the 285-pound title at the Class 3A Barrington Sectional on Saturday, with dad Robert Homola stepping in as a coach. The Whips had three state qualifiers, while Huntley, McHenry and Dundee-Crown also qualified wrestlers.

Huntley: Colin Abordo (120) returns to state (placed 6th last year) and Colin Huminsky (138) advances to state with 4th place finishes.

Hampshire: Knox Homola (285) advances to state as the sectional champion. Michael Brannigan (157) and Luthor Rajcevich (106) also advance to state with 3rd and 4th finishes respectively.

McHenry: Ryan Johnston (144) advances to state with a 4th place finish.

Huntley: Colin Abordo (120) and Colin Huminsky (138) advance to state with 4th place finishes.
