@TheAdrianDurham Football should copy tennis, 3 challenges from manager / captain per game. VAR only steps in if it’s used. Get it wrong, you lose it. Ref stays in control and managers think twice before appealing. Would need a way to stop it being abused at the end of games for time wasting

Nobody's forgotten what it was like before because 1) we're not stupid and 2) we watch football that isn't Premier League so we still appreciate the joy of football without VAR. Also VAR doesn't have to be here to stay. That's Webb's mantra in briefings & it's an insult to fans.
