@PaulMatthews67 I suggest more is spent on the repair of roads and management of roads and related infrastructure in Monmouthshire. The state of the roads has been horrendous recently and the repairs done recently are shocking and will need repair again in 3-6 months

If driving in Monmouthshire at the moment there is a fair bit of water on the roads. Everything is passable bar three closures below. Please be sensible & drive to conditions.Public have been excellent with one or two exceptions who believe road closed signs don’t apply to them

REMINDER #M48 Both directions #Aust #Chepstow remain closed due to high winds. Rest assured we will open the bridge as soon as it is safe. We used dedicated forecasts for the bridge that are more accurate than those in the local community.
